Hi,

 

i have to travel today

Unable to book seat for Frankfurt to Paris 

I am not able to the book the seat, is there any issue with the reservation system?

There is availability today. Try reserving through Rail Europe, adding your pass in the search box.

Best way is usually to book directly with DB using the special link: https://int.bahn.de/en/buchung/start?KL=2&ET=PASSZUSCHLAG

(works for the direct connections from Germany to Paris, you have to keep the just seat reservation option off)

Edit: seems like on bahn.de it fails at the step of getting reservations. Raileurope shows availability for the direct train arround 11:00.

I speak german 🇩🇪, english 🇬🇧, and i understand a bit of french

The fact that the DB website shows a price does not mean there's availability. You always have to click further until the page where it asks you to log in.
