The advice is not to activate a travel day until just before you board the train, especially if you have a flexi pass. A travel day can only be removed until 23.59 CET the day before. If you activate travel days in advance and your travel plans change, then you risk loosing travel days. Does this mean I’ve lost my travel days?
Perfect, thank you! I just select the interrail pass, no reservation and at least 5min transfer time options on the app. Do you know how I can check the train times and schedule in Brussels and France?
You should ask SNCF as they are responsible (due European Law) but i guess they refuse to give the reservation for free :/That´s part of the experience and i found many nice spots in Europe because a train was delayed or canceled and i took because of that a different route. Surprisingly they were actually really good with this! The guy at Aulnoye-Aymeris gave me a ‘delayed train’ pass then I got on the train to Paris with a free ticket as it was delayed.
Side note which Airport (Rome have several) but as you mentioned the LeonardoExpress i guess rome fiumicino From Roma Tiburtania you can catch normal regionaltrains to the Airport (FL1) From Termini itself goes only the Leonardo Expresshttps://www.adr.it/web/aeroporti-di-roma-en/pax-fco-train Okay, is this something to book in advance or the day before?
There are nether trains nor trams from Prague airport to the city, but there are busses. The cheapest, which I usually use, is a local bus to the nearest metro station. Both local busses and the metro run frequently apart from in the middle of the night. There are several more expensive options available. https://www.prg.aero/en/transport-airport Could you tell me which bus you use/how to find out the times it runs please. I want the bus from the city centre to the airport so would I still need a metro?
When are you traveling there? It is a huge difference whether you are there in winter or summer… city center you have seen within 1-2 hours. I’m travelling there in April
I’m planning on adding a stop to Pisa but using alternative transport instead of the interrail pass so it doesn’t use up one of my travel days. I want a one way ticket to Pisa from Florence. I’ve looked into flix bus but the pick up stop is very far away from where I’ll be staying. Are there trains which will take me there instead and do these have to be booked in advance. thanks. just take a regionaltrain costs are arround 15€ check on trenitalia.com When I do this, is ‘Floristella’ the main station in Florence (Florence S.M.N) as there are no other options and no results showing. However if I look on Trainline (https://www.thetrainline.com/book/results) there is an option for around £8. Although I’m not sure if this is legitimate/reliable. Thanks
Do you know how much it would be to pay before compared to paying on board? Also, how would I pay beforehand online? Thanks
This is the journey I’m planning on from Milan-Salzburg. A supplement is only required for Verona-Innsbruck right? Also, I know the chnage over is long, I put it as a filter to be 2+hrs so I can stop on some more places so don’t want to change this.
Brilliant, thank you! Is there a route that I could take without having to pay any extras?
Phew! I’ve selected the ‘no seat reservations’ so won’t be needing to reserve I don’t think?
