activation

I have just bought interrail tickets for May 2024 two adults two kids. I want to activate passes asap in order to reserve Eurostar seats, however my children don't have passports yet (obviously they will when we travel). Is there a way to activate/reserve seats before they have passports? Worried they will all be gone by the time we receive passports!

You do not need to activate passes to book reservations. App (where you load the pass) and website (where you book reservations) are totally separate.

You’ve got some time before May but if you wish to book Eurostar seats right now it’s possible. Other trains won’t be available for the moment, check back in February.

Better use this website of the Belgian Railways (4€ fee per order as opposed to 2€ per person per train on interrail.eu) : https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#TravelWish

It’s always better to book seats through the company whenever possible. More info : https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm (useful website in general!)
