We are planning our first trip to Europe. We bought a 2 month Global pass.
Just a few questions
1. Is the eurail valid in Greece
2. can we use the monthly eurail global pass on the ferries between the Greek Islands
3. Is the ferry from Greece to Italy included in the monthly global pass.
4. Can we only book our ferry trips after activating our pass

Hi,
you can book the ferry between Italy and Greece and apply your Eurail ticket in fare type and get a reduced fare. I have found Anek Lines very good on the Ancona - Patras route. Make sure you get a cabin, it’s a long trip.

Forgot to add that you can do this before you activate your pass, which is advisable as berths sell out during the summer months
