hello everyone my wife and I are flying into Lamezia on 21 September and will then take the Frecciarossa to Messina leaving Lamezia Centrale at 1730, train #9583. My question is this: does the train go to Messina or do we have get off the train in Villa San Giovanni and make our own way to the ferry port? We do have a rail pass. When I was looking for trains to add to our trip, I entered Messina Centrale and this train came up as going to Messina. Does it really go to Messina?

The 17:30 connection is as follows :
- Lamezia Terme Centrale - Villa San Giovanni 17:30 - 18:28 13€ seat reservation
- Villa San Giovanni - Messina 19:00 - 19:20 ferry (not included). It still shows on planners
