No trains shown between Basel Bad and Basel SBB

Was just trying to enter my trip for tomorrow into the app, but encountered a bug in the app doing so. When planning from Basel Bad to Basel SBB I only get journeys by tram, even when I apply filters to switch off trams.

It is, with some filtering, possible to get options by ICE from the planner but not the SBB S6. According to the SBB app it's running, but the app refuses to show it and only entering manually works for some reason.

There are engineering works between Lörrach and Basel Bad Bf with replacement buses, so the timetable needed changes.

It looks like data is missing. SBB (and DB) indeed say the S6 is running between Basel Bad Bf and Basel SBB. Interrail doesn't, probably of slow updates as usual.

Though even with data missing, I suppose I shouldn't get trams when I switch off trams in the filters 😉

The timetable in the app appeared pretty up to date on Friday, when it even knew my planned ICE from Köln to Koblenz was running with a different train number that day.

That would indeed be a bug. You can also turn off transport that is not included.

For timetables on the same day, the app uses realtime data for some countries such as Germany. Not sure about Switzerland though. For advance planning, this is not the case, and the app relies on the data from the most recently included update from the European Timetable Centre.

Well... That resulted in ICE options only, better, but not ideal of course.

It doesn't appear to have realtime data for Switzerland. Regarding the S6, for which I started this topic, I now see it marked as "Sonderfahrt" in the departures information in the DB app so that may be part of the cause of the problem.

But it was actually running, poor driver having to walk to the other side of the train every 6 minutes...
