Travel with cat(s)

Ilse Gloudemans

I am checking if it will be possible to travel by train with my two cats. Has anyone experience with this?

Didn’t do this myself, but I already saw quite some cats on trains. Usually in a little basket or travel bags. I don’t think you have to pay extra for small animals with most carriers, some ask to have a ticket for bigger dogs, as they usually take up more space, but cats are considered as small luggage.

The only restriction is the Eurostar to/from London. No pets allowed there, for the rest, there shouldn’t be restrictions, since it’s seen as smaller luggage.

Where will you be travelling? At least in Sweden you need to travel in a part of the train that allows pets.
