Hello, can I use the interrail if I start at Schiphol, travel to Groningen by train and then take the boat to Kristiansand and then continue by train?

It's not valid on the boat (I think you mean from Eemshaven, not Groningen?).
But it's valid for the trains.
There’s no need that a new journey has to start where the previous one ended (if this has been the main question).

Ik bedoel inderdaad Eemshaven. Ik dacht dat je met de trein het land uit moet reizen en dan eventueel een ander vervoer kan nemen. Dat heb ik wel eerder gedaan.
