Austria Rail Pass - Salzburg to Munich?

Hi,

I am planning to purchase the Austria Rail Pass as I will be traveling a lot within Austria.

However, I will be finishing my trip in Munich.

Can I use the Austria Rail Pass to travel from Salzburg to Munich? I believe OBB runs on this route

No, Salzburg is the border point. Get an advance ticket for fast trains or a flexible ticket for slower regional trains, as you prefer.
