Hello!

We are flying into Paris and immediately taking a train to Zurich to stay in Switzerland most of our trip, and return back to Paris for our flight back. Does the Eurail (one country,France) travel pass cover the train from Paris to Basel, and on the way back from Basel to Paris? We are getting the Swiss travel pass so im covered in Switzerland. Thanks for your help!

Yes it would be covered but you need mandatory reservations (extra costs) on high-speed trains.

It'll likely be cheaper to get advance tickets as long as you book early.

The most convenient route is a TGV from CDG Airport to Strasbourg followed by a TER.

Otherwise you'll have to go through Paris city center (RER and métros not included).
