Really hesitant on purchasing global eurail pass, really on a budget and cannot afford to purchase mobile pass and have it not work. 2000 dls is alot of money to throw away, has anyone not had a problem purchasing and using pass?

You can purchase a paper pass on some places in Europe if you would prefer that and the shipping time to the US is too long.
Depending on where you want to travel and in how much hurry you are, you also need to calculate with the price for the seat reservations.
