I can't buy a One-Country-Pass for Germany, because I am German

I tried to buy a Interrail Ticket (3 days within 1 month) for Germany only.
But during the ordering-process I can’t confirm my order/pass, because “Germany” is not in the country-List of the “Traveller” I need to add to the pass.

How am I able to buy this ticket if I’m a foreigner?

You are not allowed to buy a German Rail Pass if you are living in Germany.

IF you are non-German and IF you also do not live permanently in DE, then you can easily order it online by stating your own nationality. But it is as angelo states and what is also very clearly told in the rulings

Ok, thanks for pointing this out. On all websites and commercials it says it’s possible to buy and use this pass as foreigner (it’s allowed and possible in the descriptions). That’s absolutely confusing.

Thanks everyone.

But that is exactly how it is: You may buy and use this pass (german rail pass) as a foreigner, but not as a german citizen (living in Germany).
