Issues with Eurostar Seat Reservation for Paris to London and Change in Euraril Global pass days

Hi Eurail,

I am with my family of 3 (in total) and we have got 7 days Global Pass. I have two questions:

  1. I have activated my passes and while I was making Eurostar seat reservations from Paris to London on 11 July, there are no seats available. Please advise if there are other possibilities for reservations. I tried this  https://www.b-europe.com/ but it also doesn’t show the option.
  2. We bought 7 days pass but if we can’t use all if Paris to London train is not possible. Then we might need to change the plan and fly and we will use only 4 days pass. Can we get 3 days refund? Where do I need to contact for that?

A tip is to deactivate the pass as soon as possible. The start date that you chose during the activation process will automatically be a travel day no matter if you travel or not. The pass has to be deactivated if you want to make an exchange.

You can't get a refund of 3 days, but you can make an exchange to a 4 day pass if the conditions for your pass permits.

There is no pass holder seat availability Paris - London on 11 July. The first available train is on 12 July:

(Paris - London for 3 persons)

There is however availability from Lille:

(Lille - London for 3 persons)

You can use another train Paris - Lille to connect (don't forget the check-in time for Eurostar). There are even reservation-free options.

Here you can check the availability for pass holder seats for the Eurostar:

https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#Outbound

You can call  b-europe and make the reservation. No need of Pass Cover Number.

The phone call is rather expensive.

Dear all,

Thank you for your prompt responses. This community service truly amazing.

@rvdborgt - Rather than going to Lille, I extended one night in Paris and took early train, which was not preferred though.

@AnnaB - yeah, I noted that they only refund 85%, hence thought to let 1 or 2 days go waste. In any case, I will be nearly 9 days in London and if anyone suggest for a day trip somewhere in England, we can go for an overnight and use the pass.

Thank you again amazing people.. truly impressed :)!!
