My husband and I are going to travel in Europe this year.
My husband is a German citizen, but not a EU resident. He is a permanent resident of Australia.
Does any one know which pass should my husband choose? Eurail Pass or Interrail Pass?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Eurail Pass. He should have a proof that he lives in Australia, like a permanent resident card if it exists.
That way he isn't limited to 2 days in Germany (for no good reason since he doesn't live there!).
Eurail is preferable as Interrail has 2 days maximum use in country of residence.
He will need some official documentation as proof of Australian residency if he only has a German passport.
Side note: EU residency is not relevant. Residency in Europe is.

Australia does not put a visa sticker on a foreigner’s passport any more.
‘Melbourne/Australien’ is printed under ‘Wohnort/Residence/Domicile’ in his German passport. Is this sufficient enough as the evidence of his country of residency?
