have booked a train from Munich to Florence and paid to get reservations. I got tickets for the reservations but nothing for the actual eurorail reservation. Am I supposed to get a ticket for that or is the seat reservation that ticket?

What you mean by "nothing for the actual eurorail reservation”? If you booked a reservation and have a Eurail pass, then you're good to go. Your pass is your ticket. If you have a mobile pass, then check this page:
