From 17 March to 3 April 2025, employees of the Renfe group and Celta Trains have announced several strikes in Spain and Portugal.
The strike days affect railway networks across Spain on the following days and times:
- Monday, 17 March 2025 from 00:00 to 23:59 hours
- Wednesday, 19 March 2025 from 06:00 to 09:00 hours, from 14:00 to 17:00 hours and from 21:00 to 23:00 hours
- Monday, 24 March 2025 from 06:30 to 09:30 hours, from 14:30 to 17:30 hours and from 20:30 to 22:30 hours
- Wednesday, 26 March 2025 from 00:00 to 23:59 hours
- Friday, 28 March 2025 from 06:00 to 09:00 hours, from 13:30 to 16:30 hours and from 20:30 to 23:00 hours
- Tuesday, 1 April 2025 from 00:00 to 23:59 hours
- Thursday, 3 April 2025 from 06:30 to 09:30 hours, from 14:30 to 17:30 hours and from 21:00 to 23:00 hours
The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility in Spain has determined minimum essential services to ensure the mobility of travellers on the domestic network during these days.
The railway line between Portugal and Madrid is expected to be impacted on the following dates:
