Due to a national strike, no domestic trains will operate in the Netherlands on Friday, June 6, 2025, except for a limited shuttle between Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam Central.
Update on June 6 strike:
NS expect that international trains can continue to run, except for Eurocity Direct:
- Between Amsterdam Centraal and Schiphol Airport, there will be a reduced train service.
- International trains are only available to passengers travelling abroad and not to passengers travelling between Dutch stations.
Update on further strikes announced by the unions:
- Tuesday, 10 June 2025: Strike expanded to nationwide.
- Thursday, 12 June 2025: Strike called off - trains will run as normal.
There may also be a strike on on June 16 and 17. NS will run an adjusted timetable outside affected regions on strike days.
