Interlaken to Zweisimmen when you have a Golden Pass

We have booked a Eurail travel day for 6th July and have booked reservations on the Golden Pass train.

At the moment it does not go from Interlaken due to disruptions.

Do we have to book Interlaken to Zweisimmen with the local rail BLS separately, and will our Eurail pass cover this please and we just need seat reservations, or new tickets?

Reservations are never necessary in Switzerland (except for Glacier and Bernina Express but those can be avoided) and a waste of money in my opinion

You do not have to book anything. The Eurail Pass is your ticket. I don't think you can book regional trains between Zweisimmen and Interlaken anyway so simply board and look for a free seat
