I am ready to purchase an Eurail pass and would like to verify if the phone number I enter at the time of purchase matters. I currently have a Canadian phone #, however will be getting an European phone # once I get to Europe. Will I be able to activate the Eurail pass with the European phone # when I get there, or will I have to use my Canadian phone #, which I will use at time of purchase? Thanks in advance!

The phone number is not important. You can activate the pass on a random phone and then it will be linked to the IMEI of that phone.
