Does a train that makes stops between start and final destination count as 1 trip?

so i want to go from Barcelona to Hamburg, and i know i have to make a few stops, in the DB navigator says it is Barcelona-Paris-Frankfurt-Hamburg, does anyone knows if i take this route does it counts as 1 trip? i have the 4 days in 30 days pass (:

The Eurail Pass doesn’t work with trips but whit days. You can take from midnight to midnight so many trains that you need. Note also that if you take a train before midnight and the train ends the next day, it still count 1 day. 

For Example the nighttrain from Milan to Sicily starts in the evening and arrives on sicily the next day in the afternoon. For Eurail/Interrail it counts only 1 travelday.
