interrail pass and bus England


Next week there is a strike by british rail, there are no trains,

i want to travel from  London to Bristol  and i wonder if i can get on a bus with my interrail card

No. The only buses you can use would be railway replacement buses. They would be used in situations when there's maintenance or disruption, but not during strikes.

It will be an hourly service leaving Paddington at xx:28.

If you want to avoid busy trains Megabus has tickets for 17£ (there are other companies).

Yes only one per hour and they will be quite busy. And you’re lucky : most lines do not have a single train that day !
