Hi all. I'm worried about sometimes only having 5 minutes between interchange trains. If a bought a ticket from Zermatt to Interlaken but for example the train interchange for Visp to Spiez is only 5 minutes do I ignore that and just get on next train.? How does this work with reserved seats and luggage?. Sue 🤗

It’s Switzerland, probably the best rail country in the world. Short connections like yours are made to work and are very easy to do. 3 minutes connections is the minimum between domestic trains in Switzerland, and almost always work.
If it wouldn’t (very unlikely), then just wait for the next train.
Reserving seats in Switzerland on domestic trains is a waste of money, please don’t do that. Just find a free seat and sit where you like.
Trains there have plenty of capacity and are very frequent, so no need to worry about that.
