Hello, we want to reserve seats on a night train that goes from Cluj-Napoca to Bucharest but we have an error message:
"Prices unavailable. No fares were found for this route. Seats for Pass holders may be sold out. Look for another route or see More information to see other booking options. If the seats for Pass holders are sold out, you will need to purchase a full fare ticket to make this journey."
And this on several different route configurations. Is this normal? How to do ?

Yes this is normal, as it is in fact a convoluted message to tell you: do it when there at counter.
You did not tell date, but I think even if it went ahead there would be the message; way too early now.
CFR in ROmania is not known for good service, for advanced IT or other amenities one takes for granted in the west. In the distant past their conductors were well known to be spies for the securitate. Hence many other/private operators have sprung up in RO-none of these takes passes.
