We are traveling to Scandinavia on march 22 and we have to transfer in Hamburg Hbf to S3 (s-bahn). Does anyone know a route for this? Is it an other location where we have to go to get on the S3?

The EC indeed starts at Pinnenberg due to works. You can take the S3 which stops at a dozen stations within Hamburg.
Use DB Navigator app for planning.
Thanx. I already booked seats at DB website. And it says I need to go to Hamburg a-bahn but for me it’s unclear where we need to go and how much time it will take, and if we are going to make it in time
It's a short walk within the station. You'll have to go downstairs to find the S-Bahn tracks, follow the signs.
The S3 to Pinneberg runs every 10 minutes.
You'll have plenty of time, don't worry. :)

The s-bahn platforms are at platform 1-4 in Hamburg Hbf. Take the S3, direction Pinneberg. Departure +/- every 10 minutes.
Check on DB navigator, station screens or google maps when the next train leaves once you’re there.
