Hey there!

I am going to travel to Spain from sweden and would like some tips!

I see that there are two trains with departure from gothenburg (sweden) to Madrid (spain) but on the way there are some trains where you have to buy a seat. Is it common? If i buy an interrail pass do i still have to buy seats in some of the trains?

This is common, especially in France, Italy and Spain, unfortunately.

@Diala Chahine  i recommend to search step by step instead of the whole trip in onerun :)

Gothenburg - Malmö
Malmö - Copenhagen
Copenhagen - Hamburg

From Hamburg you can go via (Amsterdam) Brussels Paris or Frankfurt - Paris or even Switzerland - Italy - South France
