Hi :) . We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children 10 yrs+) and we will arrive in Lausanne on August 10, stay until August 15. 2 questions:
1. If we have a pass valid for Switzerland and our plane lands in Milan, is the train included to Lausanne?
2. What day trips would you recommend from Lausanne? (We have booked the hotel in Lausanne for the entire period).
Thank you 😊

If you have a pass valid in Switzerland only, your pass is not valid from Milan (Italy). You might be able to get a relatively cheap ticket from Milan to the border point (Chiasso or Domodossola) from where your pass is valid.
If you have a global pass, you can travel between Italy and Switzerland using your pass.
