If the planner gives a 7-minute connection, then it can be done in principle. If you let us know which connection that is, we can advise an app or website to know the platforms in advance.
Do let us know what happened later, e.g. what (if any) help Eurail offered. If you have any additional costs because of your problems, do claim them from Eurail and let us know how they reacted.
Thank you for the answers ! So do you think there will be a possibility of quarantine in September, even with the COVID-19 certificate? Because that would make interrailing impossible September is still a long time into the future and nobody can predict what will happen.
That depends on the train you want to book. It's usually not the Interrail app or website because they add a fee to each and every reservation.
Hi! This summer me and my friends are going to Italy, we already have our interrail pass ‘one country-italy’ but we can’t find if the pass includes a ferry in amalfi coast to capri. Anybody knows? I’m sorry for mt english 😅 You can find the included ferries here:https://www.interrail.eu/en/interrail-passes/pass-benefits/benefits-italyIt doesn't look like this ferry is included.
What did you book and when did you book it?In case you booked something on interrail.eu, the best is to contact their customer service:https://www.interrail.eu/en/support
Hello guys ! My name is Vasileios, I am 24 years old from Patras, Greece, and I am planning to go on an Interrail Trip on 7 countries with my girlfriend on September 2021. I would like to hear your predictions. Do you think it will be possible, provided that from 1st July a European vaccination pass will be available (we are both vaccined)? Has anyone interrailed during these covid times? Also check reopen.europa.eu. There will be a COVID-19 certificate but each country will still have its own entry conditions. The COVID-19 certificate is just an easier and standard way to represent information on vaccination and tests.
I think you shouldn’t have to face problems if you enter a trip manually. In my opinion, the biggest disatvantage of the mobile pass is, that you don’t get it physically as travel memory. That sounds good, actually! I was wondering how well the digital pass is accepted among railway carriers. I can imagine that it could be hard for small railway companies or companies that don't have QR code scanners. Acceptance is 100% because all carriers that accept Interrail have agreed to accept the mobile version. The information that can be read via the QR code is also visible on the screen. The fact that some carriers cannot read the QR code should not be the passenger's problem.
Don't be shy and let us know about your challenge.
