Denmark to Germany by passing by the sea

Marion Baligand

Hi ! I'm wondering if is it possible to join Denmark to Germany by the sea? I don't find trains and ferry in the Rail Planner App.  I was thinking that there may be trains / ferries crossing the sea to connect Rodbyhavn to Puttgarden or Gedser to Rostock. Does anyone made this trip and could give me some information on this ?

Thanks !

The Railferries are no more :/ and the track to Rodby are currently closed as the build a new highspeedtrack. Means you have to take a Bus to Roedby and catch the ferry as footpassenger (you get a discount with your railpass) from Puttgarden should go a regional train to Lübeck/Hamburg but attention even this route is more and more closed to build the german half of the new Highspeedtrack :)
