Train Strikes in Germany

Hey, I booked an Interrail Pass and activated it today. Because of the Train strikes in Germany I can not use my first day of travel. I also can not cancel it because it starts today. What can I do? Is the travel day (23.08.2021) lost now? I use a mobile pass.

I´ am not working for Eurail or Interrail i just share my knowledge here. Please ask in the Community and not via private message as this is the fastest way to get an answer. I prefer English/German/ Czech for my answers. In case of Reservationquestions please share some details like Route, Date, Trainnumber as otherwise we can just provide general advices or answers
