What trains or trips are covered with the pass? 

I mean, other than the main cross country trips between destinations, I presume nothing else is covered to get to those main stations?

Hi Bianca, for some reason your post only appeared now. You probably found the answer to your question already but as it might help out other travellers with the same question, I answer it. The Eurail/Interrail Pass is a train ticket that allows you to travel on almost all trains in Europe. With it, you get access to 40 railway and (discounted) ferry companies in 33 countries. Here you can see which railway and ferry companies are covered. You can find the list of ferries here. Next to that, we offer benefits and discounts with the Pass. Here, you can find the overview per country.
