Mette Fogelberg Rooney

Hi

Dane living in Australia (still Danish passport but live permanently in Australia) married to an Australian - will be doing train travel in Europe with our 2 kids in July/August (husband & kids will be traveling with Australia passports)

1 - Do I buy Interail or Eurail ticket for me

2 - If I’m on Interail is that a different app and can I still easily travel with the other 3 on Australian passports

Thank you

Mette

Hi Mette, it's the country of residence that counts. But you need to have official proof of residence when travelling.

You may also qualify for an Interrail pass but the Eurail pass is the better option (with Interrail you'd have restrictions in Denmark). The app is the same anyway.
