I have booked a seat reservation on the eurostar. I have a first class global ticket but I have booked a second class seat reservation however I am worried as on the reservation ticket it says Holder of valid Eurail/Interrail Pass Second Class only. does this mean that my first class pass is not valid and only a second class pass is valid?

That is perfectly acceptable.
1st class tickets can always be used in either 1st or 2nd class, it is using 2md class tickets in 1st class accomodation that is not allowed.
