Seat reservation from Muenchen HBF to Ljubliana - only paper ticket is possible

Hello!

At this moment, I am trying to book my train from Muenchen HBF to Ljubliana for the first of august (01/08/2022). The train leaves at 23:07 and arrives at 6:00. It is necessary to have a reservation. However, it seems to be impossible to reserve a seat other then having a paper ticket or at the train station it self. So my question is: Why can I not book a reservation for this train? Does anyone know what to do?

Hi, if seats are still available you can reserve from 14€ for a seat via ÖBB.
