Urgent Help - daughter turned 12, cant activate pass

Help! I bought a 1 month global family pass when my daughter was 11. We are travelling today! Sat on the train ready to depart. My daughter has had her 12th birthday and I can now not activate her pass. I am willing to pay to change to a youth ticket but can’t get a response from Eurrail!!! Has this happened to anyone before and did you get it resolved?

You just buy a youth pass for your daughter. You can't change the pass you already have.

The answer from support will only be that you'll have to buy a youth pass. There's nothing to exchange since the child pass was free of charge.

You can only activate a child pass as long as the child is not 12 yet, so no later than the day before the 12th birthday.

Any reservations you made will remain valid.
