i am from India. currently in Germany on type D . I came here last month. i need to visit france. what should be my residence in eurail while applying for pass? Germany or India?. I chose india as residence. Now when i am booking train from Hamburg germany to paris, its showing pass is not valid in some countries. What shoud i do. I activated it but not travelled

You should choose India so good choice.
Which pass did you buy ? A Germany One-country pass is only valid until the border. A Global Pass should definitely work. Maybe there is a Flixtrain or a Ouigo in your itinerary (those are not included).
Use bahn.com for planning and let us know.
If you activated your pass, please deactivate it until your first travel day. As soon as a pass day has started you can’t go back.

in itinerary its train no Tha9424. So not fluxtrain as well.

That pass is only valid in France, not in Germany. Had validity already started? If not, then you can exchange it. Also, first check here whether there's availability in the Thalys you want to use:
So exchange means first i will buy a new one then i will ask the refund right?
even the availability is nit there i will select the train without reservation only the concern is which pass should i get???
