Seat reservation Brussels- Amsterdam IC

I am trying to plan a trip between Brussels and Amsterdam. When I look at the return trains, the interrail website for the IC train (longer journey) says that seat reservations are needed but at the same time that I am ready to board. What does that mean? I can’t find that train in other websites like I could with Thalys trains.

There's currently a bug where Thalys trains show as IC trains.

Thalys require a 27€ seat reservation and have a passholder quota -> avoid them.

On the other hand there are hourly IC Direct trains, journey time about 45 min longer. Reservations not possible. If you cannot find them, add via Breda.
