Hi,

I have made reservations on NJ 403 which is running from Amsterdam Central to Basel SBB. I have got 2 berths both of which topmost ones- one each side, in a 6-berth-couchette.  I used  https://www.vagonweb.cz/razeni/vlak.php?zeme=SBB&kategorie=NJ&cislo=403&nazev=&rok=2024   for checking berth position.  How can i change the berth numbers to lower or at least middles?

TIA

Ah Interrail/Eurail reservations are fully cancellable, that’s why I mentioned it.

You could contact customer support but there’s not much you can do imo. Feel free to ask the attendant on the day if berths are free. Also unlikely that people give their assigned berths away but it’s always worth the try!

Where have you booked? You could cancel them and try on https://shop.oebbtickets.at/en/ticket (add Eurail as a discount).

You can select your preferences and you actually see the berth numbers before payment (click on “Click here for service and price details, print timetable”).

@thibcabe thanks for reply. I have had booked it from Home - Nightjet a month ago, this is P2P ticket and non-cancellable.  There was not much difference in non-cancellable-P2P and seat-reservation (after applying Interail Pass discount), so in order to save a travel day, I made p2p. I had gone to this site ( https://shop.oebbtickets.at/en/ticket ) at time of booking too but I vaguely remember this site was not showing NJ train that time. I am not sure if both have same database, as in both site I can see OBB logo. In fear of price increase and keeping in mind connecting plans, I quickly booked p2p. Not sure if I can still modify berths?

TIA
