Sorry for asking again.I want to book an overnight train, in this case a bunk bed, for two adults, one child who has a pass, but another who doesn't because he's 3 years old. How do I reserve a bunk bed for the 3-year-old? Or is he supposed to sleep in an adult's bunk and not have to reserve anything?I can't find a customer service contact, and the automated chat doesn't resolve this. Thanks!

Just order 2 free passes for 4-11 year old.

Ask them if they can add a free child pass.
Please mention route, date and departure time of the night train.
In general, if you want the 3-year old to have their own bunk, then they need to have their own pass (which is free).
Please give more details like train and travel date. I'm assuming it's an SNCF train?
For such situation you could get a free children pass for the 3 y.o. too. Then they can get a couchette.
As far as I know on SNCF Intercités de nuit you have to share compartments. Likely to be sold out in August.

We're traveling from Bayonne to Paris on the night train on August 18th.
If the child can sleep in my bunk, I'd be delighted, but I'm afraid you'll cause me problems.
When selecting passes, it no longer lets me select the 3-year-old's pass, only the oldest's, even though it's also free. So I can't select two free passes to secure the pass.
