Hello, I’m buying an Interrail Global pass of 2 months in a row and I have two questions for my next trip. I’m Italian and I must return to Italy after the start of my journey for 1-2 day/s. I’m thinking to buy a separate ticket from Trenitalia to travel from Italy to Switzerland and use the remain days of global pass to travel.
-Firstly, is my interrail still valid ( obviously outside my home country ) after I have used outbound/inbound days?
and the second question is:
-Can I use outbound/inbound days for two outbound ?
For this second chance I could buy the separate ticket from Switzerland to Italy and I can use the second outbound to go in Switzerland again.
For the return I’ll buy another ticket from Trenitalia.
