Hi I am currently staying in Paris. I have been here for 3 weeks and will be staying until the end of this year with a long stay visa. Is it possible for me to buy an interrail pass or do I have to get an Eurail pass?

Hi, if you have an original European residency card or document, you can purchase an Interrail Pass. If not, you have to base your choice for a Eurail or Interrail Pass on the document of your country of origin. If you are from a non- European country, it would be better for you to buy a Eurail Pass as that will allow you to travel through France as well (as with an Interrail Pass you cannot visit your country of residence, except for one inbound and one outbound trip)
