Hi there! I will be traveling to Zurich in a few weeks and planning to head down to Italy. Is there a direct train from Zurich that i can take to Florence? I’ll be traveling from Zurich > Florence > Milan > Rome, and I was planning to get a multi country pass.

There’s a direct train Zurich to Milan. You’d have to change in Milan for Florence.

Bear in mind that for the cross border train, you need to pay an €11 supplement, and for all the fast trains in Italy you pay €10 each on top of your pass. It’s not a huge amount, but do compare a pass with individual tickets, as prices in Italy can be quite cheap if you book in advance.
