+1I need to make seat reservation from Barcelona to Madrid and from Madrid to Barcelona in advance
Not at the ticket office (Subject to availability) as per the eurial app
If this is not an option can I make the seat reservation at the ticket office one day before the travel ?

Here are the known ways to make Spanish seat reservations :
You can visit any DB (Germany) or SBB (Switzerland) ticket counter and they should be able to sell them for you. If it doesn't work, ask them to try with the train number
Availability shouldn't be a problem if you buy them when you arrive in Spain. There are trains every 30 minutes between the 2 cities
