I have a doubt: my pass needs to be activated before the 1st of april, 2024. I was wondering if I could activate the pass one day before, and start the trip during April, despite the fact that the pass should be activated before april.

The last possible day to activate is usually also the last possible start date of the validity period. It's no problem if you don't travel on the first days of the validity period. So you can indeed activate your pass and choose the last possible start date (the app will not allow later dates) and only start travelling a few days/weeks later.
