I bought a 10 day pass 7 days ago today and realise I only need a 7 day pass. I thought it was 100% refund but just saw that there’s a fee of 15euro per pass? Is that true? Wondering if cheaper to keep 10 day pass and just use a few more days of it on local trains? Thanks

The pass is 100% refundable in the first 7 days, then there’s a 15€ exchange fee: https://www.interrail.eu/en/interrail-passes/ordering-info/refund-exchange-policy

7 days vs 10 days: depends if the pass days get used or not. Where would you use the “extra” pass days? For example in Switzerland it’s quickly worthwhile. ;)
