mobile pass on 2 devices

I read a post of two years ago. I want to confirm if this is still the same.

My mobile pass and my friends pass are on my phone. Can we also add them to her phone for backup? E.g. when phone battery dies, phone breaks or is lost?

It would require an internet connection to disable the pass on one phone when you activate in on the other, this is of course impractical if one is broken

You don't need to disable the pass. That will automatically be done when the pass is transferred to a new phone.

Note that you can only transfer the pass once yourself. Any further transfer has to be done through Interrail/Eurail Customer Support.

No.

You can only have a pass on one device. You can transfer a pass once to a second device for recovery in case of lost/broken phone but you can’t have a pass active on 2 devices at the same time.

That is something that should be changed. In this modern technological times it cannot be difficult to have one pass on two devices....... Just like a Google or YouTube account...... When you add something on one device it registers on your account, on every device!

It would lead to lots of fraud though!

However, isn’t the pass linked to your ID and thus only valid for one physical person ?
