I have a question regarding the options for a France pass. I will be traveling from Amsterdam towards France, but do you need to pay extra for this part of the ride? Since I will use either the Thalys or TGV from Amsterdam, I was wondering how this works.

The one country pass for France is only valid in France. If you're using Thalys from Amsterdam, you'll need a normal ticket all the way to Paris. There's no TGV from Amsterdam other than the red ones (= Thalys).
If you have a global pass, then you can use Thalys Amsterdam - Paris with a 30€ reservation.

Je kunt -meestal-wel besparen door met de gewone geel/blauwe BNL tot Broeksel te reizen en dan vanaf daar een TGV-via LIlle naar je FR bestemming. Of zelfs met overstap in Antwerpen/spoorkathedraal naar Lille en dan in 10 min naar TGV-stop Europe te kuieren. Dan kost het meest 20€. Die gewone Tls kaartjes beginnen vanaf 35€, dus zijn in verhouding peperduur voor passholders.

10€ is ook vaak beschikbaar; TGV's vertrekken soms van Lille Flandres en soms van Lille Europe.
