Can I use 1 Pass for 2 People travelling together?

Max Aulenbacher

Hey,

can I use one pass for two people traveling together? Me and my girlfriend want to drive to Bordeaux and need to figure out if we can share one “one-country-pass” to drive together with the same trains.

Thanks a lot

That will not be possible.

All passes are personal so everyone needs to have their own pass (except for children under 4 who don't need their own seat).

Okay, thanks for the answer. Booking for two people shows me the price for one pass in the shopping cart tho...

That seems strange. Have you entered the personal details for both of you and proceeded to payment?

IF you only want to visit Brdx and by train from somewhere in DE-and return, no otehr trips, then simply check any offers on bahn.de or if SNCF maybe offers lower fares from Strasbourg (depend on where you start/live in DE) and pay separate to there-or whatever other FR town (Str has a few direct TGV to Brdx bypassing Paris, quite convenient)
