Name on passport doesn't match name on pass

Maeve O'Reilly

Would there be a problem if surname on passport is different to name on the Inter rail Pass. The one on the passport is the Irish/ Gaelic version so NiRaghallaigh and on the Interrail Pass it’s O’Reilly.

That will be a problem, unless possibly you have some official documentation that those mean the same.

It is for this reason that you always need to give your name as in your passport.

@Maeve O'Reilly

As your name on the pass has to be the same as in your passport you would need to exchange your pass for a pass with the correct name. Here is info from the Interrail website on how to do that:

https://www.interrail.eu/en/interrail-passes/ordering-info/refund-exchange-policy

Or do you have an Irish ID-card with the name O'Reilly and did you use that as ID for the pass?
