Other Website for Paris-Gare de Lyon - Basel Reservation

Trying to book Paris - Bern, I needed to book Paris-Gare de Lyon - Basel reservation. However, the eurail site didn’t worked at all according to error “being not able to press ‘continue to traveler details’ button”. i’ve tried to find alternative website from

to reserve Paris-Gare de Lyon - Basel, but there was no website that can reserve it.(Only domestic lines were able to book at “travel.b-europe website for national rides in France”)

Is there any alternative website that can book international rail Paris to Basel?

Hi, I made some times ago an tutorial where you can get Reservations for TGV Lyria and there are also listed solutions how to avoid the high reservation costs and where to book. To Basel you can use the same TGV to the last station in France an pay up to 25 EUR less.

it is on page 3, I linked it here directly.

The Eurail website is the only online way to book.

If you can't click on the "continue to traveler details” button, then check if any information is missing on that page, such as your phone number.

I’m so confused.  We are traveling from Disneyland Paris to Lucerne Switzerland.  I know we will have to take the train into Paris; just not sure where.  We would like the shortest and cheapest route.

Hello @Penz

I think that the best route were to take a TGV from Disneyland (Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy TGV) to Strasbourg (reservations from 10 € depending of the date and time of travel). You can avoid the change in Paris.

From Strasbourg you can continue with regular trains to Basel SBB and Lucerne.
