I want to book a TGV seat from Paris to Nimes on raileurope.com (28. 8.) I found information that it should show the seat number before payment, but I don't see any number on the checkout page. The only option is to select a seat aisle/window or upper/lower deck. Am I doing something wrong, or does raileurope no longer show the seat number?
I have bought global pass but not activated yet.

Yes it used to be possible to see seat numbers in the checkout page (the step after you’ve filled your wishes). But right now it’s not there, I wonder why…
This notice is still shown the previous system: You can review your seats in the basket before you checkout. I guess it will come back at some point.

It is not possible to see the seats number before checkout and you have no guarantee that your wishes are accepted, but you can cancel the reservations later.
A seat selection is available for Trenitalia trains if you pay 2 €.
